Back to work

After taking around a month off from ministry, I am returning this morning. I am surprised at how apprehensive and anxious I feel. I have felt great love from the church and from God, so I'm not sure why I am feeling these feelings. I am trusting that God will meet me in worship today and affirm my calling and gifting as a pastor.

You are a good preacher and teacher but you personify the gift of pastor.

Dear Pastor Steve,
You are such a beloved man of God.
Just last night I was talking to Kirk and Kerry. I said you are the most compassionate pastor cppc had. We knew you loved us. Your were great with the kids and the elderly. Your sermons were great. Kerry loved your humor. You were a great counselor. You are just going through a rough time. You are humbled, that is good. Just keep on doing what you know you should be doing. Get support from your church. Have people pray and bless you. Pray against the attack of the enemy. Every Pastor has something good to offer a church. I believe that You, Steve Norman, were the best overall pastor I ever had at cppc, and I have had many. May God bless you and your family.
Love, Chris

When we step, God walks right next to us, in front of us and behind us. Each one. Just for us. Just for you. Thank you for stepping. Welcome back. You are greatly loved.
